Red Rose Pearl

We have sadly lost Pearl to a tragic pasture accident January 5, 2012. She was a beautiful filly, so full of life and loved everyone, equine and human. Pearl was special and loved by all. Now she's an angel in heaven, and we are blessed to have had Pearl touch our hearts while she was here.

Red Rose Reo x Red Rose Gold Carmen 2009 Cremello Filly Pearl is an exciting addition to our herd!! She is an incredibly beautiful exotic double dilute filly with great Morgan type, a gorgeous head and a great disposition. Pearl has the substance yet refinement we look for in our mares to produce foals of outstanding quality. We are looking forward to watching her mature and expect her to be at least 15H. She is pictured at 2 years old.

Our plans for Pearl is to cross her with our stallions in the future to produce 100% colorful quality foals. She is unique in that her agouti is homozygous (AA), so when she is crossed with JMF True North she will always produce a buckskin, and when crossed with JMF Basic Black she will produce a palomino 50% and a buckskin 50% of the time. We anticipate some exceptional golden offspring in the future~

We give special thanks to Prairie Hill Morgans, in North Dakota, for offering such a unique exceptional filly to add color to our herd. Pearl exemplifies her rich heritage. Her sire, Red Rose Reo is an incredibly typey buckskin who's grandsire is Blacksaddle Starbuck on the sire side and TruWest Praire Smoke on the dams side. Her dam's sire is Triple S Bald Eagle, who is the sire of the infamous MEMC Tequila Cuervo. Her ancestors have produced some exceptional performance Morgans and we expect her to cross exceptionally well with our stallions to produce some fine colorful foals in the future that will not only stand out in the crowd but excel for family pleasure, work or show~
