Black's sire, Rum Brook Immortal Image, was a charismatic, athletic, beautiful, typey, popular black Immortal Command son. Image had wins in the show arena in western pleasure and in hand. Black's grandsire, Immortal Command, is an ever popular big black stallion that has left many speechless. His first year standing stud he was rated the most popular breeding stallion in the morgan world. He has many wins to his credit including a reserve world champion title. Black's dam, JMF Wild Mayflower, is a granddaughter of the world and national champion in-hand and park saddle stallion, Treble's Willy Wild.

She is also a Windhover Regency grand daughter, who is the breed's #1 sire of black foals.

Black is poetry in motion ~ He is an incredibly beautiful individual with great morgan type, a chiseled head, thick wavey hair, solid bone and dynamic motion. He is very athletic with his movement being powerful and elegant. He's charismatic and light on his feet for such a big stallion with natural action and impulsion. His temperament is excellent and his foals are exceptional.
